7:34 pm - ????
Hey, did anyone else get a message like this, and if so what in the world is it talking about??

Dear 4everchrists,
We're contacting you because our data center move is going to affect the domain
aliasing feature you use to map a domain to your journal.
If you switch to using a CNAME that points to livejournal.com before 10pm Pacific
time on Friday 11/18, you will not be affected by the move.
If you cannot switch to using a CNAME that points to livejournal.com or if you prefer
not to, you will need to change your DNS settings to point to our new IP address by
Friday night. The new IP address is 204.9.177.18. We highly recommend you switch to a
CNAME to avoid this hassle should our IP address change again in the future.
Please contact your domain registrar or DNS administrator if you are unsure how to
make these changes.
You can stay tuned to http://www.livejournal.com/community/lj_maintenance/ for more
details about the data center move.
Thank You,
The LiveJournal Team

List five songs that you currently love. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.
Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog.

Then tag five other Livejournal friends to see what they're listening to.

"Burn for You" - TobyMac
"You Are Holy" - Michael W Smith
"Walk By Faith" - Jeremy Camp
"Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" - Relient K
"Hard to Know" - Mindy Smith

9:48 am - Good Morning!

If you don't have the time to read all of this, i ask that you at least read the last 3 paragraphs...i promise it will bring a SMILE to your face :O)

Let my tongue be silenced if I ever forget you!

WOW. Mass was totally awesome this morning :o) wanna know why? cuz fr. kunkel is awesome. he gave me this giant bear hug...good geez i haven't seen him in a long time...what happened was i overslept this morning and was running around and eventually realized that it was 625am, so i rushed over to st. mary's to find Fr. Dan ready to go forth with the Gospel...so yea...since i obviously didn't catch Mass at st. mary's i started thinking "where else do they have Mass at 8am?"

i thought of st. andrew's first since they are closest but then i realized i should prolly try to find somewhere close to ASU...so st. tim's? nope still too far. Mt Carmel?...hah, really didn't feel like having to deal with fr. john so early in the morning:o/ Holy Spirit?...don't know their Mass schedule...Christ the King?...too far. Queen of Peace?...to far...Resurrection! Perfect :o) It's about 8 minutes or so from ASU...

It was totally awesome!! did i say that already? hehe...we had Benediction after Mass, as well...
Not to mention the awesome Psalm Response...i got stuck reading cuz they didn't have a lector haha :o) and you know what the reading was? well, some of you may remember when i didn't want to pursue a religious vocation outside of arizona, and fr. clements played that joke on me during Mass with the reading switcheroo? yea, it was that reading...some of you may figure it out from that story, the rest of you may figure it out from this one: it was the reading that i used to fire back at fr. clements when HE didn't wanna leave st. marys....so yea...anyhoo...it was nice hearing it...er, reading it again...although it brings both good and bad memories to mind...it's a really powerful reading especially when teamed up with that Psalm ... sheesh ... and father's homily was wonderful too....

haha, nothing like starting the day off Adoration, Mass and Benediction!

Talk to you all later! gotta go balance my checkbook, and then back to divide confirmandes up in groups...

Oh, and by the way, Ree Ree if you're reading this, are you getting confirmed this year?

Oh oh! i almost forgot....i babysat for the Debates last night...AWESOME Catholic family...5 adorable kids...10yr old girl Bridget, 6yr old boy Matthew, 5yr old boy Isac, 3yr old girl Theresa, and 17mo old Baby Mary Clare.

They are such wonderful kids. Their Mommy told me that they all love praying the Rosary with Mother Angelica...they ALL knew the words to all the prayers...minus Mary Clare of course, who can't really talk much yet...and then before bed, Bridget says, "there are other prayers we pray before we go to bed too" so i gathered them all into the boys' room (they have bunk beds we could sit on) and they said together the Prayers to St. Michael, St. Joseph, the Angel of God Prayer, and the Act of Contrition! and then they all went around in a circle and said what they were thankful for that day! IT WAS AWESOME!

And, even though Mary Clare can't speak the words to the prayers yet, doesn't mean she doesn't know or understand her faith! Those of you who have seen my ible case where i keep my bible and briviary know of that blue plastic crucifix with Our Lady of Lourdes in the background? well, it was on the couch and the crucifix was hanging down and Mary Clare reaches up and grabs it, looks at it, and then KISSES IT! Then she turned and smiled with all her little teeth at me and kissed it again! and she kept pointing and smiling and saying Jus! Jus! Bridget told me she was trying to say Jesus...she didn't let go of the crucifix the entire time we prayed the Rosary and i detached it so that she could sit with it in her lap while we prayed the other prayers before bed...she kept kissing it and smiling at everyone as though she had found the greatest gift in the world!!

It's so amazing how young children find their faith! Mary Clare is only 17months old and she already knows! Isn't that just awesome!

11:04 am - Long Week...
Ah! my computer works now! lol....and i didn't lose anything this time thankfully lol.

The past week has been pretty mellow except for Will's dad passing :o(
Speaking of which i need to call him.

Have been hanging out with Fr. Clements to make sure his health is in check...still worry about him constantly though...

Confirmation is definitely underway at st. mary's..we started out the night last Sunday and pretty much got overwhelmed with the size of our small groups and so decided to split the entire Confirmation class (which is 8-12 grade) into a bunch of different groups...although this also meant that we split our CORE team in half, but i believe that this will be so much more manageable.

the 8th and 9th graders will meet on thursday nights from 645 to 815; the 10th-12th graders will meet on sunday nights from 645 to 815 right after the teen Mass.

in addition to splitting the age groups up, we went even further and divded the two groups into ANOTHER two groups of A and B for a total of 4 groups.

i only have to worry about the sunday A and B groups....hence the whole splitting the CORE team in half because we all couldn't give up BOTH a thursday and sunday out of our weeks.

and so...i spent most of the last week cooped up in heidi's office with some of the other CORE phoning our loveley confirmandes to inform them of the changes....

and then two nights ago we tried it out and found that, in past experiences we have had better luck with the non-coed groups. for whatever reason guys just don't like to talk around girls....sometimes they just don't wanna talk in general...why is that? someone wanna explain it to me, cuz it's just so weird....girls on the other hand just talk...and talk...and talk....well there were a couple of quiet ones, but my gorup was relatively talkative once we grew comfortable with one another...EXCEPT for the guys....

anyhooo...after much debating ... the CORE Was a bit torn because some of us ended up liking the mixed groups better than than guy-girl ones....we finally decided that it would be best to split them up...1. because that's the way it's always been we just weren't sure if we had enough guy-girl CORE members to make it work; now we do...and 2. father dan said so.

and so, heidi and i stayed behind in her office after everyone left and just kept on going at it....we made a giant poster and were successful in splitting group B into guy-girl groups to be ready for next week...Group A was much more difficult since they all already had one session with a small group and we felt horrible about having to split them up again...you know, everyone gets comfortable and you lay down the rules...the whole "whatever is said in the group stays in the group", you spill your guts out to the group, and then the next week you are put in a totally different group and have to start all over again! now how is that fair? well, we didn't really have a choice, but we tried our hardest to keep them with AT LEAST one other person from their first group. i am still not finished with it actually, lol, i am bringing the final lists to heidi this afternoon...

not to mention we have a retreat scheduled in a month....

so that's that.

what else has been going on? pray for Will...definitely pray for Will, please, those of you who know him

Work. ah, work. Saturday i found out that jess has absolutely NOBODY ot cover the cheer class and so i am stuck with again. i mean, it's fun and all and i love the girls...we all got really close last time, but i just don't know if i have the TIME for it....but she was really in a rut so i said i would take it....gr....

yesterday was a pretty interesting work day. angie's son jordan got sick and sowe snuck him into the baby room and let him sleep in there because angie didn't want me to be alone for 2 hours...i love her :o) and then this lady who gave us a problem about the same issue last time (the parent that drops them off has to be the one who picks them up UNLESS they can leave a picture id of the person they want to pick them up-does that make sense?) well, she recently asked to see our supervisor about that rule, and it was taken care of and she has been good about leaving her husband's card, but today i noticed that she wasn't leaving HER card, and i figured taht we needed them BOTH since she was dropping them off and her husband was coming to get them...i mean, what if something happened before the husband arrived,; we would need the mother's card to find her...right?

anyway...she had her card in her hand and i asked her if she would please leave it, and she just stared at me, and so i asked again, and she just said "why" and i went through the whole thing (again) that it is for the safety of her children and she just refused to give me her card! hs ewas like, "you have my husband's and he is coming to get them" and i said we needed hers as well because she is dropping them off...and she made this big deal about how they already and checked her in at front and that she is a member, and i was like "i know you are but i need your card" and she was all "what if i need it to get back in" and i told her she's not allowed to leave the building with her kids there and again she just stares at me...finally she slams her card on the table and just leaves...well gee....i mean, she had the card IN HER HAND. all she had to do was hand it over...i don't see why it was such a hard thing for her to do....her kids are so sweet though!

anyway...so taht's work, and apparently my schedule is changing and claudia wants me in at 3pm instead of 4 for one week and then 2pm in steadof 4 another week and then the week after that and from then on 230pm...not sure what is going on, all i know is that we are losing a morning person...

so yea...that's my week...i'm in the computer commons, have been for the last hour or so, i'm hungry...i think i may grab something to eat on my way to my next class....which is in 20 minutes...

oh, and you know what else i realized? lol, my room is finally the way i want it, and it's no longer sweltering hot in there....when i first moved into it, my bed was directly under the window...bad, very bad idea in arizona...so we moved it so that it was facing the window...it was still pretty hot...and finally we moved it so that i am facing away from the window and my headboard is blocking the window :o) i mean, i can still get to the window...but you know...no more sun :D

well what i realized is that this change of furniture occured in three weeks...each on a saturday lol...so the saturday after i got home from Germany i moved in there...my computer, dresser, everything...that arrangement lasted simply one week...just until the next saturday when i moved my bed to face the window...then the following saturday, i moved my bed to where it is now...facing away from the window with the headboard as my shade lol...that was september 17th, and lookie! i made it past a saturday! i didn't move anything around on the 24th! lol...anyhoo....i'm bored...i'm hungry....time to eat....almost time for social work class....we have a test on thursday...wish me luck!

PS: Traci i need to talk to you! ... i might be online late tonight...maybe....actually i'll email you sometime today...hehe
